Our school is 5 blocks away from the centre. The school building is a big new house with 6 class rooms, community areas with free internet access and a big patio.

The neighborhood of the school is quiet and there are a lot of shops, where you can get every kind of articles and services. There are furthermore a lot of restaurants and typical chocolate shops of the region close by.

The school is well situated, only some minutes away from many housing options, we can organize for you.

Activities and social life

Bariloche – with mountains, beautiful lakes, glaciers, forests and pretty vegetation in the environment – is one of the main tourist attractions of Argentina. The possibilities of outdoor activities are almost innumerable: Rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, trekking, horse trekking or trips to the national park Nahuel Huapi during the whole year and in winter (June – September) skiing and snowboarding at Cerro Catedral.

We invite you to our weekly activities: city tours, cooking lessons, cinema at school, tango lessons, canopy, barbecues and bar evenings are part of our program.

At the weekend we go on trips to El Bolsón, Esquel or we make the famous lake cruise to Puerto Montt (Chile), to enjoy the local food, parties and the beautiful landscapes.

Spanish and Ski

Bariloche is also known as the Aspen of Argentina. The main ski region is located at Cerro Catedral, only 19 km away from the city and it is the biggest winter sport centre of South America. There are 29 ski lifts at 1'030 m to 2'388 m and there are slopes of more than 100 km for skier and snowboarders of all levels.

Our Spanish and Ski program includes two lift tickets per week (1 weekday and 1 weekend day) and the transport to the slopes.

The spotlighted practices at the Spanish immersion schools are to empower the students to be able to function independently later, without assistance.
